The Art of Movement and Color
Emerging visual artist Nathalie Girard develops a creative world where doodle art and watercolor play a central role. Her work is characterized by intricate compositions, fluid and organic forms, and a soft approach to color that engages the imagination and invites viewers to escape into her world.

The Creative Process Behind Presence
Presence was not created in a single sitting. This lion became a two-year exploration of granulation, values, edges, movement, and composition. Through seven different attempts, the painting slowly evolved from an idea into a deeper understanding of watercolor itself. Discover the full creative journey behind Presence on the blog.
Doodle
Doodles often begin as simple, intuitive scribbles—random “doodling” done without a specific intention. Gradually, hidden shapes emerge and evolve into highly detailed illustrations. Once created mainly with markers, these drawings now evolve through the exploration of new media. This approach highlights the movement and spontaneity that are at the heart of doodle art.

Watercolor
Watercolor was first explored through figurative work in order to better understand the medium and its unique properties. This stage made it possible to study transparency, fluidity, and the behavior of water and pigments. Today, the practice is moving toward more abstract compositions, within a sensitive and contemporary approach.
